The Grants and Awards-division was set up in the winter 2001 and its task is to prepare issues concerning grants and awards given out by the Finnish Paper Engineers' Association. The division processes applications concerning the Pro Paper, Research and Student Scholarships and makes a proposal to the board of the Paper Engineers' Association which decides to whom the grants are given.

Apart from this, other tasks of the division include the systematic processing and up-dating of the of grants and scholarships, proposal of the finnish candidates for the Wallenberg Prize, nomination of the Lampén-committee as well as processing of historic prizes of the Paper Engineers' Association.
