Paperi ja Puu Oy has published a unique series of 19 books for Paper Engineers' Association (PI) and TAPPI (the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry). The books provide a basis for university-level education, for updating training courses and as handbooks for the industry. A new learning programme - Papermaking Competence Programme - based on the Papermaking and Science books has been organised by The Training Centre of Finnish Forest Industries (METSKO) and is targeted for key personnel in the forest cluster. The programme is held in English and is set to take place in Europe approximately every other month at different papermaking centres.

The Papermaking Competence Programme is divided into two levels. The introductory level includes six modules level aiming to further examine the fundamental concepts, requirements and methods in papermaking procedures. Simultaneously you can choose from dozen advanced level seminars according to your own field of expertise or interest.
