The scholarship was awarded for the first time in honour of the Association’s 75th anniversary in 1989.

STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

RULES

§ 1
The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage students of paper and pulp manufacturing technology or related areas in their studies or final thesis.

§ 2
The scholarship shall be awarded annually at the Association’s Annual General Meeting and the amount of the scholarship shall be decided by PI.

§ 4
The decision to award the scholarship shall be made by PI. The applicant’s success in his/her studies shall be considered before making the award.

§ 5
Scholarship recipients shall submit an account of how the scholarship money has been used to PI no later than one year after the scholarship was granted.

§ 6
Applications for the scholarship shall be invited in January – February, and short written applications should be submitted to PI by the deadline set.
