LAMPEN MEDAL

RULES                                                                                                                                          

§1
The Lampén Medal award was established in 1967. It is awarded by Paper Engineers’ Association in recognition of outstanding technical and scientific work carried out in the Association’s field.

§2
On the front of the medal is an impression of the engineer Alex. Lampén, while the reverse shows a cross-section through Lampén’s mill. The number of each medal, the recipient’s name and the date the medal was awarded, shall be engraved on the edge of the medal. The medal shall be struck from gold and shall be worn round the neck, secured by a blue ribbon, at celebrations held by the Association and its sister associations.

§3
The medal shall be awarded by PI.

§4
The medal is given out at the meeting of the Association. The Association shall keep a record of medal recipients.
